Problem Statement

The objective of the project was to boost foot traffic to Go Mobile’s 100+ stores throughout the UK. To achieve this, we designed and executed the “Upgrade Me Happy” campaign, which aimed to emphasize the unique selling proposition of the Go Mobile franchise. This campaign focused on the free upgrades, insurance, and gifts that Go Mobile offered, and we worked with a team of marketers and designers to create a cohesive brand theme and all associated materials. Our goal was to evoke the sense of excitement and satisfaction that comes with purchasing a new phone contract from Go Mobile, and we successfully communicated this feeling to the target audience, which included UK technology consumers aged 10-70.

Summary

As a marketer and designer for the Go Mobile franchise, I was tasked with creating a campaign that would increase foot traffic to over 100 stores across the UK. The resulting “Upgrade Me Happy” campaign highlighted the unique selling points of Go Mobile, including free upgrades, insurance, and gifts. Working with a team of designers and marketers, we created a cohesive brand theme and all accompanying deliverables to showcase the feeling of satisfaction customers experience when purchasing from Go Mobile.

The success of this campaign was evident in the increase of 30% in store traffic, higher retention rate, and increased sales across 70% of stores. The campaign was implemented across all traditional and digital platforms, including radio, sponsored events, and billboards. My experience in this project demonstrates my competence in developing effective marketing campaigns that drive sales and increase customer engagement.
