Hello

I have held various positions throughout the past decade, from designer to Marketing Director and a leader to many. Each allowed me to develop a varied and extensive portfolio of knowledge. Due to this journey, I have become an expert in personalizing and humanizing brands—making myself the “eHarmony” of marketing because I match brands with their people.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

#1 GOOGLE ADWORDS(PPC)

Implemented Google Ads for AutoPot.ca & GreenPlanet Nutrients.com across North America. Average a 6:1 ratio on Return of investment(ROAS). Adwords, Facebook Paid Ads
 
#2 CONTENT LED SEO
I developed an Organic SEO campaign by creating an inbound marketing strategy by creating evergreen content. GreenPlanet Nutrients saw a growth of 60% in users the following year, with a six-minute and thirty-second Average Session Duration and a 27% bounce rate.
 

#3 SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING (SMM)
I developed a robust social plan for GreenPlanet Nutrients focusing on Instagram. Within 18 months, the account grew from zero to eleven thousand followers, attained an average engagement rate of 9.7%, and maintained an average reach rate of 20.&% for posts

#4 WEBSITE KPI TRACKING
Designed multiple Data Studio reports that visualized Google Analytics Metrics in a way stakeholders could easily digest. These various reports were created to highlight our four defined KPI categories: Consumer, Revenue, Performance, and Website. From there, I further identified key granular KPIs within each category. This ensured I could evaluate the metrics against industry standards and previous years to see where improvements were needed.
 
These KPIs helped ensure that I was accountable for reaching business goals. In doing so, I was able to provide a consistent bounce rate of 27%, 5.5 pages per session, and an e-commerce conversion rate of 1.3%
 
#5 REBRAND

Herbaland Gummies is the largest gummy manufacturer in North America, and as their Marketing Manager, I rebranded their in-house line of gummies. From the brand to packaging, I redesigned and rebranded Herbaland as fun & functional gummies, creating a USP from their competitors.

CAREER HIGHLIGHT

MYGREENPLANET /  SURREY, BC / 2018- PRESENT
I managed and developed the portfolio of brands within the Horticulture industry; GreenPlanet Wholesale (B2B), GreenPlanet Nutrients (B2C), Pacific Northwest Garden Supply (B2C), Grow Your Four (B2C), Baüx Industries (B2C), and High Yield Product (HYP).

General Manager of Marketing
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, I managed the six individuals who made up the marketing team, from designers to content writers. I was responsible for planning and executing the marketing deliverables to achieve the business objectives and creating reports to showcase accountability and progress with all marketing efforts across the digital and traditional channels.

  • Rebranded & redesigned all the portfolio brands, which saw a 20% year-over-year growth.
  • Created an Inbound Marketing strategy and maintained a bounce rate of 27%, with an average session duration of 2 Minutes and 57 Seconds.
  • I maintained a 1.3% website conversion rate.
  • I helped be a part of history and created industry Leaders.
  • I worked with global and domestic brands.

Helping GreenPlanet transition as market leaders required leadership that evolved with their needs. With the legalization of Cannabis, GreenPlanet went through tremendous growth, and I helped transition them into the legal market. Before, their marketing efforts were word of mouth; however, to compete within the marketplace, their efforts had to match the new environment. Working with the Chief Operating Officer and founders, we created a vision and goal for where they wanted the business to be positioned in the marketplace. From there, I worked with them on expectations and made short-term goals toward their long-term objectives.

The short-term goals focused on creating the foundations for a successful future, from creating multiple websites to building a solid social presence with a community of dedicated followers.

The tasks included creating a piece of detailed product information and value propositions while focusing on the company’s buyer personas. Creating a consistent look and feel for the packaging and labels.

In the following years, I focused on creating a thorough in-bounding marketing strategy focusing on content-led SEO to ensure evergreen organic SEO across multiple websites to ensure they ranked high on the defined keywords for the brand.

I had to adapt to the industry’s rapid and volatile growth, maintaining and evolving the short-term goals to ensure I was aligned with the long-term objectives. Creating new plans, SOPs, and presentations for buy-ins from stakeholders and the team to ensure collaboration and unity in all efforts.

The duration of my time with GreenPlanet has allowed me to fine-tune my ability to adapt to any scenario. Throughout the hurdles and challenges we faced as a company, I became the constant within the ever-changing landscape of my team and line manager. Ensuring we succeed together.
