Summary

In conclusion, my role as a designer on the Kaboodle project provided me with valuable experience in brand design and asset creation. I gained knowledge on target audience analysis, brand identity creation, product design, project management, communication, and collaboration.

Analyzing the target audience helped me understand their needs and preferences, which informed the design of the Kaboodle range. Creating a brand identity involved designing a logo, choosing brand colors and typography, and creating brand guidelines, which helped create a cohesive and visually appealing brand that would appeal to the target audience. In terms of product design, I learned how to create 3D models, select materials, and design packaging, which allowed me to design practical and visually appealing mobile phone accessories. Project management skills, such as creating a project plan, setting milestones and deadlines, and managing stakeholders, helped ensure the project was completed within the 4 month contract period. Finally, my communication and collaboration skills improved by presenting design concepts, giving and receiving feedback, and communicating project updates to the client, project manager, and other designers.

Overall, the experience gained from the Kaboodle project has equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge that I can apply to future projects. It has allowed me to become a more well-rounded and versatile designer, capable of analyzing target audiences, creating cohesive brand identities, designing practical products, managing projects, and communicating and collaborating effectively.
